It looks like I will buy a Big Red. I've driven a Mule, just like the Honda better.
Honda sells a 4000lb winch. They are quite proud of it, at around $800. They also say you need an accessory battery box, and second battery. Does anyone know why this would be necessary? Does a big winch draw that much? Would a smaller winch not be adequate, say a 3000lb winch?
Other than a roof, what other accessories should I be considering right off the bat? I have owned traditional ATVs, this is my first side-by side.

A winch will kill the battery faster than you can imagine. Get all the battery you can.

Depends on what you are going to be primarily using "BigRed" for?

Green goo in the tires, no matter what you are going to doing!!!

Racks for guns, cup holders, tool box, fuel and oil storage...the list goes on..........

Have added the following to mine:

Bigger tires & Slime in the tires.
3000lb Superwinch with additional battery and wireless remote.
Upgraded the lights (CanAm Commander units and Hella driving lights).
Snorkel kit- air filter doesn't dust as easily, still uses the stock filter.
Fold down windshield, roof and plastic rear window.
Rifle rack.
Back-up light.

Oh, I took the doors off.
