So, I decided to try easy off oven cleaner to clean the outside of carbs on my bikes ..

I tried "foaming bubbles" and "easy off" cleaner ..

Foaming bubbles is probably best left for dirt - enough said

I have tried to use the chemical carb cleaner bath, with mixed results, usually requiring a huge level of scrubbing with a bush afterwards to clean the carb ... not happy with that...

easy off .. sprayed all over the outside .. let sit 5 mins ... it wipes off to clean bare metal with a rag ... brushes only needed for the tight corners!

use gloves, though, as it will strip out all the oils from your skin, too... but slowly!

in short, it worked GREAT

bet it could be used to clean the insides, as well.. and just needs to be rinshed off
