The link goes to the whitehouse.gov site, it is a petition for changing the current EPA/DOT law preventing "gray area" vehicles from being imported or registered until they are 25 years old. These are most notably those little japanese mini-trucks and the like. There needs to be another 14,000 signatures by Dec 9, but there are already over 10,000 so it looks doable, especially if the word is being passed along like I am doing here.

You do need to register, but that is a small price IMHO to try and reduce some of these regulations.

sevenmag, I am envious. I have an FJ40, but would love a diesel HZJ79. Here is one that was built here in the US, but I am afraid to ask the cost.
