My first impressions are mixed.
Sounds similar to a first gen 5.9, louder than it needs to be.
Plenty of power running empty. I can't speak to towing ability yet.
Asain transmission is as nice and smooth as they come.
Turning radius is larger than it should be. Not woods or parking lot friendly.
Only available with front captains chairs, no split bench option so seating is limited to 5.
Sticker price for a fully loaded Titan is just North of 62K.

After waiting 2 years I got my deposit back and left the dealership without the truck. I wasn't impressed for the $$$.

Wow 62k! You can get a 6.7 dodge for less.

$53K, sticker, for the Dodge half-ton Diesel. I see no real need for a small(er) truck with the added complexity of a V-8.

The reports on the 1/2 ton dodge has scared me. I bought the 6.7.

Tree 'em, I think you made the right choice. Nissan is one of the least savvy truck builders out there. If they had come to market this year with a redesigned Frontier with the new small Cummins, mileage north of 30 mpg and a sticker under $40K, they'd be kicking ass and taking names. But nooooo ....
I have been reading posts on the Dodge Ram Ecodiesel forum for a couple of years, and I agree, pretty scary issues over there.

With so many engines available from Cummins in the 4cyl variety, for the love of everything that is good, I can't wrap my head around the reasoning for the Ecodiesel. I love my 3rd gen and wouldn't trade for it. The 4BT would have been perfect for a half ton application. It must have something to do with emissions.....
