We had a new man with us, and he wanted to feed the camels.

I gave him a box of carrots, and told him to go feed them.

Sadly, I was flying the drone far away, so could not video what was going on.

As he got close, they knew he was bringing food, he got scared, dropped the box and ran away!

It look to me like they eat anything offered, and that they are smart enough to recognize anything unguarded is fair game if they can get to it.
