My daughter and I made a photography trip to Kenya in June. It was early in the season and the grass was really high so we didn't see many animals. But we did stalk a cheetah with cubs for a few days and did see a leopard with a 5 month old cub. We didn't see Notch but we did see 3 of his sons. They all have huge manes and are still "own" all the prides in the Mara.

Here are a few photos. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks, safari-lawyer and Bear Cat!

I heard today that one of the cheetah cubs was killed by hyenas. Some rangers found some remains.

FANTASTIC!!!

I like the upper lip curl on the lion in the back.

My friend who has hunted all over the world told me, India was the best hunting in the world, and Kenya was the best of Africa.

Thanks for posting, great photos.
