On a recent trip to Tasmania I decided to use only the camera in my Iphone, rather than carry a heavier camera.

A couple of photos of the results.

Very nice!

Phones do take fantastic photos.

Sadly, there is no zoom above 2x.

I prefer to use the zoom on cameras to frame my shot.

I find carrying a small, quality, pocket camera is much more satisfying, in photography.

Pocket cameras seem to have eliminated verifiable photos of Big Foot as well as UFOs.
What a difference 10 - 20 years can make.

Technology has really changed photography. I use my iPhone much more than my Canon 5D. All that equipment, tripod, L grade lens, filters, flash, just seldom get used.

My daughter in-law takes nice photos with her phone but doesn’t know a thing about depth of field, aperature, shutter speed, bokeh. It’s all little icons or functions on the phone.

I used the camera on my iPhone for years. Last years trip to Africa via Dubai. I forgot the phone in the hotel room. I went into the mall and bought a pocket camera, a Nikon A100. Cost about $100.00. Smaller than the phone, takes better pictures, faster to get into action. I won't hunt without it.

Who do you guys use to develop your pictures for display? I find most photographs fare poorly when printed...

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
- Rudyard Kipling

Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.

I do my own, on Photoshop.

Specialist photo print shops will do it for you.

Or you can download free software and play with it until you get what satisfies you.
