I have read these too many times to suit me, because I knew that someday I would experience the same feelings. I just returned from my Vets after having to put my Weimaraner to sleep. He has been my constant buddy since I acquired him from the rescue group 5 years ago. He was only 10, but developed prostrate problems before Christmas and quality of life has deteriorated rapidly despite the best efforts of my vet. We have enjoyed these five years and I thought we would have a few more, but fate denied it. He will be sorely missed by myself, my better half and his running mate Reba, our 13 yr. old GSP. Here are a couple of pictures of him, a chocolate colored blue eyed Weimi. Getting his ears cleaned, something he loved. Thane, my most sincere thoughts are with you. The blessing of "Man's Best Friend" is something to behold. We have the blessings of a lifetime with our pups. RIP Weimi. Regards, Robert ****************************** H4350! It stays crunchy in milk longer!

Thaine, My most sincere condolences. It is very difficult to lose a friend and member of the family. Will take a little time before it doesn't hurt so much. Mike -------------- DRSS, Womper's Club, NRA Life Member/Charter Member NRA Golden Eagles ... Knifemaker, http://www.mstarling.com

Thaine, my Chessie loves to get his ears cleaned too! My condolences as well. Peter. Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong;
