My new hunting partner, Bandit. I brought Bandit home two months ago and he is a super star. He has hunted wild birds and of course preserve birds.

His sister, Angel, will join the family at the end of June.

I suspect they will get the appropriate # of birds to keep them sharp.

Safari James,
Do you hunt on foot behind the English Pointer?

Although I'm partial to Labrador retirevers and had one named Bandit, I must admit that is one good looking dog. I'm sure you both will enjoy many days in the field together.

Yes, I hunt on foot behind Bandit. However, he will hunt the same with a 4-wheeler or ATV without any issues.

I just returned from a great hound hunt for bear with Doug McMann of Skinner Creek Hunts. If you are into hounds (I enjoy any hunt with dogs myself), I posted a hunt report with pictures here:

Really handsome dog James. Please post when Angel joins the pack. Going to treat Bandit to some .410 hunting?
Cool

Bill:

I'll post pictures when I get her to the house. Super excited to have her hunt with Bandit.

Both dogs will see a ton of birds this coming season and I'll be using a number of SxS shotguns in 20ga, 28ga, and .410 along with a couple of O/Us in 28ga and .410.

GREAT PAIR!

If you manage to get any, I'd love to see one point and the other honor. I'll bet it won't be that hard to get. Wink
