We are searching for a GSP pup. Our dog passed after 10 years of love & loyalty. Just have to have another. We want to be able to hunt with her but at our age it will be more of a companion for us. Would need to be able to ship to us in Washington state. Thanks for the help.

GSP's and GWP need a lot of work/excersise to keep them stimulated.
They are very highly strung for the first two/three years of age depending on the individual dog.

I currently have two Wire hairs and they run me ragged.

If you can commit to the work and time they become the best mates a Man can have.
I've just come home from a 5k walk with my two tu2

Our dog that just past was a GSP. She had amazing energy for at least 7 of her 10 years, we actually bought her from a poster on AR. Best dog ever. Just hoping to find another pup soon. We really need a dog. Life is not the same without one. We actually have a few leads. Thanks

You might want to consider a rescue. Lots of good dogs need a home for no fault of their own & you can avoid all the puppy craziness. One of my best dogs was a rescue Brittany.
Currently have a 90lb 6yr old GSP....he was a wild child for the first few years.

Congrats. GSP puppies can be a ball of energy & handful until they become "civilized".
