Folks say hi to my Gunner, my almost ten year old Chocolate Lab. He will turn 10 on Veterans day this year and other than gray in the muzzle you'd never know it. He has at this point in his career over 6000 retrieves to his credit, most of them in the open ocean. He spends 100 days a year working with me out there and we're back at it again this year.

Looks great, do you need to rinse him down after to dilute the salt water on him. Years ago I had one of my dogs down on St Simons Island in Georgia and he would get sick as heck from drinking the salt water. Took him several spells to figure it wasn't drinkable

Brice, he gets his share of treats to be sure.

raamw, no need to rinse down, all my dogs have figured out the salt water deal fairly quickly. Usually after a few visits to the big pond.

Wouldn't it be nice if our dogs lived forever and we got to buy a new shotgun every 10 years. Thanks for sharing the pics
