Sorry for your loss. My dogs are spoiled house dogs but losing one of them is no easier.A part of you goes along with them. It never gets any easier.

Can you please explain hillbilly? How did a cougar kill your dog? Where were you?
Thanks, Peter.

I hope he goes to the place where dogs get to chase and catch, rabbits all day.

I've hunted the Chilcotin a couple of times, and wouldn't mind going back. I'll check you out in the hunting reports.

I too am sorry for you. I lost my companion dog a few months ago, she just went in her sleep and apparently peaceful, 20 minutes earlier getting home and I would have been there with her when it happened. I'm on my way to the bookstore to get a training book for our new puppy and just thinking about Bailey (the one that passed) again I started to tear up. They are truly the best companions a man can have and I feel your loss. If anyone or anything automatically gets into heaven, dogs are just behind kids.
