a few years ago we had a couple of macaws and an english setter we live on a little used road 5 miles or so from town. thus we have people drop off their unwanted cats constantly. these feral cats raise hell with the birds, so eliminating them is a requirement. anyway after watching through the window to see the elimination a few times our blue and gold macaw developed a cat warning growl. whenever a cat entered his vision he would have a particular growl hearing hat the setter would rush to the door to tree the cat (something he really loved) we then would go out and eliminate the cat. this became a ritual. cat, growl, tree, bang. it got so common that one day i was shooting out the back yard and hearing the shot the bird growled and dog ran out to tree the varmint i think you would call this bird dog training

Sounds like a fun bunch you have there. I was hoping you'd say the bird hunted cats now. George "Gun Control is NOT about Guns' "It's about Control!!" Join the NRA today!" LM: NRA, DAV, George L. Dwight
