My new best hunting buddy is somewhere in this pile of Lab pups. I have second choice for a female pup. Four females and five males in the litter. They're from field trial backgrounds. The pups were born on 2/2/22.

The painted toenails belong to the breeder's wife.

My new buddy is home. Her name is "River". She's adjusting well to her new home. My older lab not so much. She's basically ignoring the pup but I'm sure that will change over time.

I don't think there is anything in the canine world cuter than a black Lab pup.
