Mine does Cash the German Shepherd puppy who to date has been an excellent car dog decided today to jump out of the car at 35 miles an hr. Driving thru downtown Orlando, Cash decided at a traffic light to stick his head out the open window. First time he has done that - seemed like he was having fun. As we drive from the traffic light he decided to stick his front paws out and then to climb out of the moving car. Every time before he either sleeps on the passenger side floor or on the passenger seat. Mainly the floor. Before I can shout or saying anything I see him heading out. I have my seat belt on but I am able to reach across and grab his tail. I am stretched all the across the length of the front driver and passenger seat. Have the left hand on the steering wheel and right hand on Cash's tail. I brake and have the car swerve across the 4 lane undivided road (East Robinson Street) - luckily light traffic. Cash is hanging outside the passenger door - my strong deduction as the only thing I see is his tail in my right hand. Car stops, I drop him and run out to collect him before he get hit by another car. He is all happy and wagging his tail. Going to go buy a new chevy or GMC pickup this weekend - crew cab and he now sits in the back or maybe in his crate in the bed. Cash is 4 1/2 months and weights 48 pounds.

I had a black lab mix jump out of my truck at 55 mph. Rolled and jumped up, not very happy at all, and all he did was break his tail. They might.

One of my Brittanies must as it has jumped out the window twice. It also rode underneath my pickup for about 1/8 of a mile. I could not find her so started to drive to look from her when I heard yelping coming from under the truck. She was wedged between the spare and rear end. She was fine except for a small cut. I have one of my best dogs that had three different cougar bite her on the head, at least once each. On cat had here 4 times by the head. Other then a swollen head she came out ok each time. I expect most of her lives are used up so I bred her to my best male this year. My old shorthair broke out a second story window, jumped through it, then jumped off the roof of the porch to get a cat. She was fine and never did catch the cat.

My chocolate lab walked right by a coiled Mojave Green rattlesnake at a distance of no more than a foot. Karma. 114-R10David
