I've been out of the loop for a few years now, but depending on where in ID you are, you might get hold of these guys. https://sites.google.com/site/srsgda/Home It's an amature Gun dog club based in the Pac NW with allot of good people that love to help others. The majority of em have GSP's too.  Nobody should be without a good German dog though (I'm down to two), so good luck. Charlie Field sports are not about targets and scores. Score-keeping is necessary in competitions between humans, unattractive in competitions with weaker adversaries. Constant scores of many to zero do not smell of struggle and chance.
