Since we moved to this house, we just got our third dog. Originally my wife wanted a smooth fox terrier. It arrived at our home as a puppy, and immediately took a liking to me!! We named her Dogmatix - Matix for short. She would go out in the yard and come back with a bird - dove, pigeon and similar. I watched stalk them as they fed by some bushes, and she would jump them from very close! She spent a lot of time in our shooting room. She ate everything WALTER ate. Mostly chocolate and ice cream!!?? Matix passed away a few years ago, peacefully. On her old age, I would carry her down to the shooting room. She had her own house in our kitchen. I gave her lunch, and sat down while she fed. She went to sleep, and never woke up. My wife wanted a toy poodle. So we got Sassy. A golden color bundle of joy. She is getting on now, and has lost a few teeth. She absolutely loves watching National Geographic videos. My daughter Hessa asked if she could have her own dog. She wanted a black small poodle. A couple of months ago, this “poodle” arrived. She named her Maika. It did not look much like a poodle?? We now find that it was a cross of poodle and pumi!! She is about 9kgs now, and an absolutely joy to have. We took her to SWEDEN with us, and she found a close friend in our friends moose hunting dog, Nova. They loved each other, and would so end ages fighting for fun. Maika is back in DUBAI now, and she seems to love our gun room. I will post photos and videos later on. I cannot imagine a house without a dog. Man’s definitely best friend. Maika is helping set up targets for the kids to shoot. | ||
