Got ourselves a dog some 8 months ago. She was then 10 months. She has been a handfull, to say the least. Very willful breed. Sometimes sweet and easy sometimes extremely stubborn. She has a good nose and will follow almost anything from sparrows to moose if allowed.
My wife took some nice pics I just want to show you, its not a very common breed.
here she is:

I have her more like a companion dog. But she is so eager to hunt that I should try to get some hunting done with her. She get me out of the couch anyway!

Wow,,, that's a great looking dog.
What's the average weight for that breed?
Looks like a med size (maybe 35#) but it's hard to tell.
Thanks
Charlie

Field sports are not about targets and scores. Score-keeping is necessary in competitions between humans, unattractive in competitions with weaker adversaries. Constant scores of many to zero do not smell of struggle and chance. They smell of greed.

Cazador: thanks.
My dog is about 44 pounds(20 kilo), which is quite average.
Males get a bit heavier, up to 60 pounds.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"
