Well looks like we might get a puppy tomorrow. female, 8wks. free. A friend of my wife. It's half german shepherd half black lab but looks like a black lab. both of these are breeds that we had considered, I like free, looks like a win win situation.

I asked my three year old what she thought good names for a dog were. she said Powder and Brittany. I told my wife if we get the dog I get final say on the name. Powder.....

Well, got the puppy, she SEEMS mello right now, very interested in Barnum our Australian, wants to play of course, has taken to the crate right away. she's black as midnight except for a small white spot on her chest about the size of a half dollar. barnum is always wanting to play and has no interest in playing with her right now.

Named her Heidi, I liked it.

Congrats on the new puppy. I thought my two beagles were just high priced S**T machines till today, they chased me down a rabbit in the yard this morning, was the quickest hunting trip I've ever been on. I guess they really do know what to do LOL.
