I finally picked up my GSP pup but had a small snag. Sammy had one male unspoken for and he made me a great deal on him. I now have Ace and Deuce. They are quite a pair.

it's acutualy not much harder to train 2 then 1 it can be easier for many things i.e. if one wont fetch & the other will tie the won't up where they can watch & let them get so jealous of the fetcher having fun & being made a big fuss over that the won't will be a do in just a day or 2. this method has worked for us very well wether 2 pups or a adult & pup or pups, everytime we've done this we've gotten a pup that is so eager to please us it's just hard to believe.

My big male is one heck of a retriever. With him working and the other two watching they are already wanting to retrieve. The attention span isn't much right now but it is fun just watching them being pups. They are quick learners. Going to be nice to have all 3 in school together at the same time come Oct. One of the males is for sale so it may be just Ben and Deuce in training together. No big deal if Ace doesn't sell.

I remember seeing a comedy skit by JJ Walker, the black kid on TV that used the phrase "Dyno-mite".. back in the 70s....

it was kind of a Rodney Dangerfield sort of skit about being a looser....

he ended it with saying the pyschiatrist told him that he should get a hobby, like going out hunting.. and get a dog...

So he finished.. so I went out and bought me a couple of pointers, off this old redneck dude to take out Coon hunting.... but all they do is lay around the house.. and spend all their time pointing at me.... rotflmo

I always got a kick out of that skit...
