I saw on the news on Sat. that Menu Foods had issued a recall on much if not all of their dog & cat food. Evidently, there have been some reports of kidney problems in some animals. I don't know specifics - just what I heard on the news. A couple of the more popular dog foods here in Ak. are listed - Iam's and Ekanuba. We have recently been affected here in South Africa with Royal Canin's Vets Choice causing kidney failure in dogs - quite a few died this month. They have identified the source as melanin in a batch of imported protein from China. I listened to their MD on the radio this morning apologise to the consumers.
