Does anyone here have them, or experience with them?

I have a new neighbor with a severe head injury 45 years ago. Several young kids were on a toboggan that crashed. Killing one, another girl broke her shoulder, collar bone and upper arm. This lady was 10 and hit her head on a big rock.

She has a 2 year old well trained as her service dog.

She has kept the long hair over it's eyes.
Doesn't look to me like the dog can see out.

Is there any harm is trimming that hair off the eyes? I have no experience with this breed of dog.

I hadn't seen them in about a month until yesterday morning on their walk.

She had the eye hair pinned up on the dogs head in a bunch. dog seemed very happy and recognized me from 50 yards away.
