One of Us My condolences. I lost one of mine 2 years ago on May 21. Seems like yesterday.

new member The loss of my old boy of 14 years was/is perhaps the deepest felt loss that I have ever experienced. The one realization that has been important to me and may provide some comfort or at least perspective to you as well is that to have not shared all those years with a great dog would have been much worse. One of Us I went through to same thing last year with my first dog...I can feel for your loss. Try to remember the good days. I know, that helped me.
