What should be the punishment for the person who did this. Just saw on the nashville news where someone stole a truck that had a dog tied to it. Obviously the dog had to be put killed. On top of grand theft auto what else do you all think the guy that stole the truck should get?

Once he gets in prison and the guys find out about the dog he'll probably be punished there.

We had a guy here in South Africa this week that got a suspended sentence for decapitating his Husky with a chainsaw.
The dog apparently ate his parrot. Him and his helper cut then sawed the dogs head off.
He was sentenced to 12 months or R5000 suspended for 5 years. And he is still allowed to keep the pets he still has.

I think he should get his balls severed, preferably by trying them to a truck and driving off.

Did he know it was there?
A very long time ago, my grandmother tied the leash of her dog to the passenger door handle of my Dad's car, and went back inside to do something. He was unaware that she did so, came out shortly after and drove to the store, never seeing the dog on the other side. All the way he said he never heard a sound from the dog, but after getting there he saw it, the poor thing had half it's fur rubbed off. The dog must have been running for some time and finally couldn't keep up. Luckily it lived for years after, but he was so pissed at my grandmother, and depressed over the whole thing it bothered him the rest of his life.
I don't usually walk around my truck first to see if somebody tied a dog to it..? A stupid thing to do anyway if you ask me.
Anyway, as far as stealing the car etc., give him the max...

That parrot probably called the dog a "Son of a Bitch" and it pissed him off. The truth hurts. clap

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.
