Hi folks, any kind soul feel like running quickload for me? 7x64 600mm barrel OAL 3.307 162 gr Amax COAL: 64mm CIP pressures please. Powders: N165 and anything else you'd suggest gratefully received? If anyone has a pet load for 280 Rem and 162 Amax that would be a great start. Scrummy | ||

JPL I'm curious why IMR 4831 wasn't included in the powder selection ? I have a couple 280 Rem and a very similar 7x64 and IMR 4831 is hard to beat accuracy wise and most loading manuals have it near the top velocity wise. | |||

Hallo Scrummy, in Austria and Germany they are using a 7x64IX...ist an "Ackley Improved" one using a 30° Shoulder.  left to right: Standard 7x64Case, two 7x64IX with 168grs BergerVLD and 163 Hornady A-Max.  Ballistic out to 1000 Meters. Best Powder is Norma MRP or ReloadSwiss RS-70 Best Wildcat | |||

Hi, N-165 is way to slow. Try NORMA MRP, Rottweil R-905 or, best Reload Swiss RS-70 Start 56,5grs. giving 863m/sec, MAX. 58,2 is 890m/sec. Best Wildcat | |||
