Id be a bit more concerned about the gun, and its components than the caliber..The best barrel is the key to success in accuracy and there is a world of difference in barrels of the same make and caliber..That is why some bench rester buy 20 barrels at a time from Hart and a few others..then pick the best one and toss or sell the rest..Caliber isn't the answer. The 6.5x55 set many records in Europe and still does Im told.
