The rifle is shooting 0.5 inch groups at 100m with 123gr AMax at 2950fps

Question about the rifle twist.

Will it stabilize 95gr VMAX bullets for predator calling?

That twist rate should stabilize everything from 85gr up to 160gr. My 6.5x55 has a 1:8 and has not had any troubles stabilizing anything i've loaded.

With a few days at home I was able to sort out the loads as well...

5 shots at 100m over the bipods.

123gr AMax with an average of 3037fps



I will be back home on the 8th of October and I am looking forward to shooting 300-500m to see what groupings I can get with this setup.
