Using a DSLR is like shooting a double. It requires work and practice. Good majority of my pictures from Burkina Faso are out of focus. My point and shoot would have taken much better pictures. Now I need to take a class to learn how to use a DSLR camera. Anyone recommend a quality very easy to use compact camera. Something to give trackers or less skilled PH to take trophy pictures. Turns out my best trophy pictures were taken on my iphone. I need something that simple to give trackers. Thanks Mike

I like my Canon Powershot S95. I don't know if they make it anymore, since they upgrade this type of camera almost every year. I think they're on the S110 now: http://www.digitaltrends.com/d...wershot-s110-review/ As for focusing a camera, it shouldn't require that you enroll in Nikon University. There is a lot of free advice out there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03soV1LxwYQ _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

The Canon S120 is out, but the S110 is still in the portfolio. Both solid compact cameras. The S110 should be getting down in price since its successor is out. Jeremy

Thanks for the info. I saw a samsung camera at costco - was larger than I want. But it had a large screen and used an android operating system. Might be interesting if there is a smaller camera of this type. Mike
