I intend no offense to my host here, but do you all ever visit bulletin boards more or less dedicated to photography?

I am trying to become a fairly seriousl amateur photographer, and I'd like to have a good place to ask questions.

Thanks,

H. C.

Here's a few I hang out at...

Hands down the Fred Miranda site is the best, there are some excellent photogs that hang out there and are very willing to share information. And there is very little if almost NO backbiting that goes on.

has image critique forums where you can learn alot.

Also, if you have Canon or Nikon equipment, they both have forums for questions/answers.

if you are interested in wildlife workshops

You can get a huge jump start with a workshop.
