I just bought one also, nice camera can't wait to get good
with it. Ive heard that you need to read the instruction manual front to back and understand it ... for me easier said then done I've taken one picture with it of a 30"
muley in my yard. It came out okay but certainly there is room for improvement. I'm a thinking they are pretty nice cameras.
enjoy,
hysider

Hysider & One funz thanks for the reply's

I was out mucking about in the yard tonight having some fun with it....I need to learn how to post pictures now.

I think this camera will be good and later on I will add a digital slr to the kit....the 8700 will be better portability wise for hunting pics.

I have also been told that reading the manual is a must.....

Any way's I will have some fun learning how to master this thing, I think it is more capable than me thats for sure

We have used this on our Safari in Tanzania this year, and the results were great.

My PH took a liking to it, so I gave it to him.

He says he has been using it none stop, and absolutely loves.

You made a great choice.
