Thanks for the pics......................DJ

DJ-

Yes, they are twins and turned 6 in November...and are well into shooting already. They spend lots of time with their little Red Ryders, but they also do well with a .22 LR Cricket along with a single shot .410.

The oldest is 17, and I can't keep him stocked with ammo. Fortunately, though, he's begun to load his own.

By the way, I love those expressions in the photos you posted. I've always preferred candids like that over the traditional staged photos.

When my buddies son hit the age of 16 or 17 all of the 22lr ammo in his house magically disappeared.

I think I need to get main trained to help me with loading to earn their 22 shells! :-)

Happy New Year!.................DJ

Kids and Christmas........

My oldest son Glenn and his wife Angela. Jacob and GlennIV are theirs.

My grandson GlennIV with the "Camo Pasafier" my wife got for him at Bass Pro.

My daughter Rachel and GlennIV

My second son Joel

My grandson Jacob and his skimboard. He is now 13 and is into "surfing".

This is one of my hunting bud's youngest son at deer camp on Dec. 26 with his Christmas present. He is 8. My son Glenn and I had just got through drilling his sling studs so you could put on a sling, adjusting the scope and zeroing (his dad had it bore sighted at Academy. Not bad shooting for an 8 year old at 100 yds with a Rossi 243 single shot.

"Hunter" Dale the "Two fisted minnow dude" (another story) with my Christmas Present.

Geedubya-

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing those photos. Like DJ, I have to ask about the "skateboard" that Jacob got for Christmas.

Some of Joey's friends were/are into skateboarding, but I've never seen anything like that. (I never heard of "skimboard, either, but then again, I live out in the backwoods... Big Grin)

Take care!
Bobby

Don't come to my house on Christmas or my wife will make you dress funny....

Hopefully the kids will outgrow them by next year and save me the humiliation.

Happy New Year everyone!!!!

The first thing I was thinking was "ahhh...that's cute...but better you than me!"

Then my wife walks by and says something about being "a precious picture."

If she gets any ideas for next Christmas, YOU are in TROUBLE! Big Grin
