Can anyone give me a short primer on how to post pictures from a digital camera?

Thanks...I'm really not stupid, just un-informed.

How about just posting photos on here in general

1. Download your pictures from your camera to your PC.
2. Upload the pictures to a web hosting site like PhotoBucket.
3. When making a post, use the "Image" link to add the image right in the message. When you click "Image" (below the text box in which you type your message/response), a little window will pop up in which you enter the URL of your picture. If you use PhotoBucket, this URL is right below the picture on your album page there.
4. Post.
