I've got a few mule deer photo's but the first one here is my favorite to date. Ordered a 16x24 print of it and going to put a double mat on it. Under mat will be the color of the deer and white top mat. Probally about 2 1/2" of white around it. Then a sheet of non-glare glass and one of my own frames. I re-saw old wood to about 2" wide then rip it on a 22 1/2 degree angle. Laid flat, the face of the frame is thick around the photo and thinner on the edges. Then I router the inside edge with a ogre bit, a rounding bit outside and wax the bare wood. The back get's a heavy brown paper dust cover and wire hangers with soft plastic wall bumper's. Try to get a photo of it here when it's done.

Here's some idea. This frame is 1 1/4"wide with 22 1/2 degree layback. Double white mat w/1" exposure and non-glare photo quality glass.
