Guys, had my 9 month old lab pup Molly out for her dock diving class yesterday and took along my Nikon D7000 with an old but very good Nikkor 28-70 AF lens that I have used for eons. I did a few at fast shutter speeds and a few at considerably slower speeds to dramatize the action. I haven't figured put yet which effect I prefer. Anyway, enjoy Molly's day. She sure;y did.

It takes some practice to get it right (panning with the subject), but I've always liked the blurred background but subject sharp, or just blurred enough to show motion. Of your series above I prefer the sharp pictures. _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

Wink, Thanks for your comments. I'm not quick enough in my dotage to catch up with Molly with my cameras. She's just to fast for me. Still, I enjoy both, but must admit that I do prefer the sharper photos I think. She'll have another session on Sunday and I'll try again. TT

It's like swinging a shotgun. You probably have it in you but just haven't practiced it enough. _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.
