I now have an Olympus Sp-510 UZ and find it a real pleasure to use. Takes fine pictures and my local photo shop can make great prints. But I just built another gun and want to email photos to a friend.
I'm using the Olympus Master program with windows 2000 professional. It seems to download OK but when I click on BROUSE nothing!.Can't find the images anywhere. Anyone using this set up can surely tell me what I'm doing wrong. So far everyone I talk to wants me to switch to their favorite down load system
HELP.

I have the same camera... the best thing to do is skip the Olympus Master program...

It pops up first when I interface the camera to the computer to download pictures...

Then I have some other Adobe Program that tries to download the pictures and use that program..

after that, the Windows Picture and Fax Scanner comes up, which is standard in Windows XP....

By using that, you will find that is very windows compatible... it down loads the pictures into your windows picture folder...

then I put them in Sony Image Station, which will post them for free...here is the last example, that I took on the weekend of March 11 2007...

PM me if you need any more help with that one...

I have an E-volt E-500 and I have to agree with seafire. I loaded Olympus Master on one PC and when it finally died, I bought Photoshop Elements 5 and never looked back. I never even loaded the Oly Master on the new PC. Editing is MUCH easier with Elements.
