dont know much about them
thought maybe a high resoultion - wide angle

I got into digital photography with a Nikon D3100. It's a very good entry level DSLR. Very easy to learn.
I graduated from the "Auto" settings to manual setting in a few weeks.

It's being phased out of production and prices for the units left in the pipeline are pretty good.

For basic no fuss pictures a good point and shoot might work just fine for you, however I'm not up on current point and shoot cameras.

Love him or hate him, Ken Rockwell does give good reviews on his site. He gives a glowing review of my D3100 and recommends a Canon Point and Shoot. Usually his reviews are right on
