Point and shoot Hybrid or bridge cameras DSLR Cameras I got into digital photography with a Nikon D3100. It's a very good entry level DSLR. Very easy to learn. I graduated from the "Auto" settings to manual setting in a few weeks. It's good for most anything you need to photograph. It's priced about $130 less than it was when I bought mine two years ago. http://www.adorama.com/INKD3100KL2.html For basic no fuss pictures a good point and shoot might work just fine for you, however I'm not up on current point and shoot cameras. Love him or hate him, Ken Rockwell does give good reviews on his site. He gives a glowing review of my D3100 and recommends a Canon Point and Shoot.
