What are peoples experience of mounting systems for an iPhone on a spotting scope. I have a Kowa 32x70. I have an adaptor that takes by my Nikon DSLR, but it’s cumbersome, bulky and quite difficult to get light settings correct. And tripod doesn’t really work with a DSLR hung on the back.

I have used this for years behind a Pentax 80ED. Works great for shooting video with a phone or GoPro. As you change phones all you change is the phone carrier.

There are universal mounts available for phones.

They seem to have adjustments to fit the scope, and the phone.

Thanks - I think the Phone Scope is way to go. Have you tried their universal adapter?
