Well that's it, the 35mm still film camera is finished. Kodak is going to phase out Kodachrome. "When doing battle, seek a quick victory."

I hate to see it what about all the large format air cameras and such Anyway it matters not, because my experience always has been that of---- a loss of snot and enamel on both sides of the 458 Win----

My memory is not that good, but I seem to recall large format is usually Ectacrome so you can process it yourself or use a local lab. I think I shot 160asa ectacrome tungsten mostly. In larger cameras, the grain isn't so critical with bigger film stock. "When doing battle, seek a quick victory."

Slide film is toast cause slides are history. Plenty of folks still shooting medium and large format gear. Tech-Pan in 8x10 sheet film is beautiful ... ![]()

Kodachrome has been hit by the EPA really hard, only two labs in the US process it, and I see fewer calls for archival slides these days. Most lg formats are using Velvia for landscape work. Fashion guys usually go for Provia. John

The real worry is what to use for shimming scope rings, better add a few rolls of 35mm film to my secret stash. And no more 35mm plastic film cans for targets? ![]() "When doing battle, seek a quick victory."
