Hope this is the right category to put this...
How do you put pictures on here? I have pictures on Yahoo storage and if i try to put a picture on here, it makes a box with an X in it instead of putting the picture there.

I tried to click on the picture and then save the url name, but that doesn't seem to work. If i can't do urls from Yahoo, i'm gonna get rid of it.

Thanks for any help.

We just went through this when another member tried posting form Yahoo. We could never get it to work. Some picture hosting websites don't allow you to import pictures to another website.

My only suggestion is try another picture hosting website, such as www.imagestation.com or www.hunt101.com

Terry

Thanks. That is kind of disappointing, though, because they are charging 2.95 a month and now i'm going to have to move all my pictures someplace else.

plinker,

As you can see it CAN be done.... All you have to do is click to the image size that you want to post... Right click on the pic and grab the url for instance the fly one is http://us.f2.yahoofs.com/users/3f5e6fb0_1004e/bc/My+Target+Photos/__hr_LiquiFLY.jpg? now if you look at the top of the window you will see something like __hr_LiquiFLY.jpg?BC7K7d_AioIv1Rim

grab everything after the ? in this instance its BC7K7d_AioIv1Rim now add that to the end of http://us.f2.yahoofs.com/users/3f5e6fb0_1004e/bc/My+Target+Photos/__hr_LiquiFLY.jpg? so it will look something like this...
http://us.f2.yahoofs.com/users/3f5e6fb0_1004e/bc/My+Target+Photos/__hr_Liq uiFLY.jpg?BC7K7d_AioIv1Rim

and it should work just fine....

6.5 bandit,

I can't see the pictures, just boxes with red x.

This happened to me when I posted from a member's Yahoo account. I could see the pics, but no one else could see them.

Terry

T.Carr,

I now see what is happing and i never relized till now.. It looks like yahoo changes the backside number in my my exmp. BC7K7d_AioIv1Rim
thats the number im talkin about so it will work for a period of time till that changes then it doesnt work any longer unless you change it to the new one.. It may be a day or every few hours... So to make a correction to my orignal post it does work but wont work for long and i suggest goin with one of the other sites to host picks from.. Or better yet if your on cable/dsl just host them yourself... If you would like to know how you can host your own I would be more then willing to help you out.. Once its setup its very simple and friendly... And best of all you dont have to be a genius to figure it out...
