Canon ProShot will no longer dump to my computer. Two USB cables swapped, batteries are fine. Help? _______________________

I'm going to guess that you're not in an emergency situation, that you can take out the memory card and the computer's or card reader's SD slot will let you get the files onto the computer. Sometimes the computer isn't recognizing the camera/card reader because of settings or software, not necessarily because of electrical connections. Have you tried troubleshooting that aspect? _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

Wink, have tried a couple things CameraLand suggested to troubleshoot. Will try your advice next, and Merci bien! This is a PowerShot SX120IS with no card I can see. Oops! There it is next to the AA's, an SD HC 4 GB. (Think it quit working on the port of my HP tower is why I've been using the USB cable.) Have an older Canon from George Bush tax rebate days that had an SD card with bent pin. I have a new iPhone6 to mess with and, no, it isn't an emergency. Barry _______________________
