As I have quite a few Nikon lenses for my F100, I am wondering about how they will work with my new Nikon D70s which will arrive in a few days. Some say that there is no problem, while others say that the newer "DX" lenses are much better for digital cameras, and worth getting. This would mean selling my other stuff which would be a bit of a hassle. Most of my current lenses are 2.8 (besides my 50mm 1.4) if that matters at all.

Any thoughts on the matter by you guys would be appreciated!

I have only had my D70 for a few months but I am using the lenses I already had for my N70 and am pleased so far. If the lenses you have will work with the autofocus/metering on the D70, I would continue to use what you have at least for a while to see how you like it. I am sure the latest and greatest "digital" lenses (whatever that means) will show some improvement, but whether that increment is worthwhile is hard to say. I would not change over all of your lenses until you see how you like using what you have.

Good luck.
