i have the D70 and like it alot. does about 10 million things that i'll never use. nikor lenses are top grade but very expensive. I've had great luck with 2 tamrons. one goes for 35-200 and other from 200-400. really covers the range pretty well

Hi!
I have the D80 and do have some issues with vignetting (sp.?) with the Nikkor lens (18-135) while there are no such things on th Sigma 28-80 or 70-300. I dont know why, but the Sigma seems to be better than the Nikkor for some reason.

Sincerely
Daniel
