Hi all, have gone and bought a Panasonic SDR-H90 (internal HDD memory and also an SD card) Getting to grips with the camera now and like it, except for one MAJOR issue... Right the issue is....when I download the video clips onto the Panasonic Video Camera Suite2.0, the resultant footage is almost too dark to view - can only see a very faint image (though when played back on the TV and camera its spot on), spoke with a friend who uses a similar camera and he downloads onto windows movie player from the SD card - so tried this, cannot get it off the SD card onto windows - anyone got any solutions (it seems to only want to download onto the Panasonic Video Camera Suite2.0). Please help someone!!

I just looked at your camera, it is a standard definition MPEG format, and can be edited by almost any editing software you can buy. My suggestion is to get an SDHC card reader, and one of the many editing softwares that are available. For a beginner, my suggestion is to get Pinnacle 14, or you might get the older version 12 cheaper. Copy the footage onto the SD card, then copy that footage to your computer using FILE EXPLORER. It is very easy COPY/PASTE routine. Once you have done that, start your editing program, and open the footage in it. Forget Windows Movie Maker, and the free software Panasonic gave you with the camera. They are very basic, and sooner or later, you will have to buy a seperate editing software. I hope this helps.
