This camera sounds like it could be just the ticket for hunters, 12MP, 1080HD movies, 18X optical zoom (equivalent to a 450mm lens), 3" LCD, 4.1x2.4x1.4", 7.6 oz. That is a helluva lot of power in a small package. I realize that they are new, but anyone have any experience with one?

I have the S8100....it is the same as the S9100 but with a less powerful zoom.

I like mine....it takes good-easy picures.

Ordered one for the wife this week, arrived on Thursday. Looks great,am working through info booklet will post more info after first field test.
