Some of you may have already tried High Dynamic Range photo treatment. I've just started and figured I should start with single image HDR to see what I get, rather than going out and taking 7 photos of the same thing at different shutter speeds. So, here's the photo as it comes out of my Nikon D90: The place is Monet's garden at Giverney in Normandy This is the same photo "tone mapped" using Photomatix software: I think the results are very nice. Where it can come in really handy is those times when you don't get the exposure right, like this one of sunset over seal lions on the California coast: But when corrected end up salvaging it to this: _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim. | ||
