Which Fox Pro model electronic call is the best in your opinion? We have red, silver and cross fox but no coyotes. Ocassionaly a brown bear will respond however! Thank you.

I have the FX3 but wish I had the FX5. It has a few more feature's that I like. The sounds are right on the screen instead of looking at a printed card. Which is a big help when out at night. The ability to switch back and forth between sounds at a push of a button, like from a howl to a distress.

I would advise against the FX5 unless you can find it for less than $599. The new Fury is out and it looks like it will replace the FX5 for the same money with a better remote, more sounds and a few more features (just bought one and so far-so good) The FX3 is less money, $399 or so, and is a great caller but with a much more rudimentary remote and less sounds.
FWIW- I started out with the FX3 then returned it for the FX5 and now just bought the Fury Wink

Good luck!

No question about it, the Scorpion with an SP55 speaker if its very windy - go light and compact and you will end up taking your caller everywhere.

Just my opinion though!

The nice thing about an FX-3 is that you can find one used, then upgrade it to an FX-5 later, which is 200 bucks from Foxpro.
