I've killed coyotes with my shotgun a few times while bird hunting but have missed more times than I can count with a rifle in my hands. They have had my number until today when I made a 254 yard shot with my 270 Wthby. I found the deer skull on my walk to collect him and thought it made for a tasteful prop.
