High guys,

We shot a nice coyote yesterday and made a mess out of it. It was a nice big dog and would have made a great hide. With the damage to the lower front shoulder, the top half of the coyote was perfect. I wanted to remove the top half of the coyote and work it like a beaver skin. Has anyone done this? Any other ideas, I just hate to leave a nicce hide in the field.

It has little or no fur value, but you could just skin it as normal and have it tanned. I have a bear skin that has some nasty holes in it but still looks good hanging from a nail.
