Got home today from the Pa. rendezvous, a great time was had by all. From the Demonstrations given by experienced trappers, to the various vendors(nearly 100, plus many tailgaters ) where you could buy anything from mouse to bear traps, or the newest lures and scents designed to entice every furbearer on the planet. Walking around the grounds you could get expert advice on any trapping problem you might have.
In the evenings we all sat around campfires and told tall tales and sampled each others homemade wines and brandys. If you've never been to one of these you owe it to yourself to get there. Even though these people use 4wd trucks and GPS it still evokes a flavor of the mountain men who opened up this country to settlement. hope to see you there trapperjim
