Man cannot live by Marlins alone, he must have an old Winchester or two around just to keep him honest. Good looking 94, is it in shoot'n condition?

The action is tight and smooth. Trigger is pretty crisp. The bore is not shiny anymore, but aint rusted out either. So yes Rooster, it will shoot, but I have 3 other 30-30's, so I do not plan to shoot this one much. It has taken on the persona of a family heirloom and not just a gun. The Lyman tang sight is missing, but the base for it is still there.

The most interesting thing to me about this little carbine is the rear sight. It is a 3-way rear sight. It has 1 fold down blade, and a combo blade behind that one that when one is flipped up the other one is down and when you flip the one that is up down the other one is up. So you have three blade types to choose from and three blade heighths to choose from. Also like the pinned in front sight blade.
